About The Position

Home of the Innocents is seeking a compassionate and engaging Parent Education Facilitator to support and encourage families through evidence-based education and a trauma-informed approach. This role is crucial in administering evidence-based parent education curriculums, fostering positive relationships with parents and children, and facilitating engaging and informative classes. The facilitator will prepare lesson plans and teach 1 or 2, 2-hour classes over a 9-week period. This position is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference for children, families, and the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, education, childcare or human services field required.
• A minimum of one year of direct service experience with children, adolescents, and/or families is required.
• Proficiency with current Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Evening availability required.
