About The Position

SilverRide is seeking independent contractors to provide ADA-compliant shared-ride transportation services in West LA (Beverly Hills, Santa Monica). This role offers steady earnings potential and consistent ride opportunities, focusing on meaningful work assisting older adults and people with disabilities. Unlike unpredictable rideshare earnings, this position involves pre-scheduled rides with appreciative passengers, offering a professional environment for medical appointments, shopping, and social visits. Drivers provide door-through-door specialized service.

Requirements

• Age 21+
• 3+ years of driving experience
• Valid CA license (or 3+ years out-of-state experience)
• 4-door SEDAN ONLY (crossovers, SUVs, and minivans are not eligible)
• Clean driving record (maximum 2 violations in 3 years)
• Fluent English
• Compassionate attitude

Nice To Haves

• Maintain your own credentials, which may include drug testing, DOT Physical (medical certificate), Defensive Driving course completion, and fingerprints.
• SilverRide can provide information about credentialing resources or facilitate access to learning tools.
