About The Position

Explore Career Opportunities at The Bancroft School. We are hiring Paraprofessionals. Available shifts are 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Must have 2 years of experience in the field. Requirements

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of direct support experience, preferably within an educational or classroom-based setting.
Be 18 years of age or older
Have a current, non-provisional, non-probationary driver’s license in good standing

Nice To Haves

NJ Substitute Certification Required (for Teacher Assistants)
NJ TOSD Certification Required (for Special Education Teachers)
NJ K–6 Teaching Certification Required (for Special Education Teachers)
Associates degree in a related field or 60 college credits required (for Teacher Assistants)
Bachelor’s degree (for Special Education Teachers)
Hold a CE, CEAS or Standard License in "NJ K-6 or K-8" (for Special Education Teachers)
Hold a CE, CEAS or Standard License in “NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD)” or “Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH)” (for Special Education Teachers)
