About The Position
Liberty Education Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dependable Paraprofessional to provide 1:1 educational support for children with disabilities in a home-based learning environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students achieve their academic, behavioral, and social goals while working closely with families and educational teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while following educational plans and directions.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances.
Nice To Haves
- associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience working with children, especially those with disabilities, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to a student in a home setting.
- Assist with implementing educational and behavioral strategies outlined by the student's educational team.
- Encourage student engagement, independence, and skill development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Communicate professionally with families and Liberty Education Solutions staff.
- Foster a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
