About The Position
Passos Avante is seeking a Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 School Year at West Elementary School. This is a 40-hour per week position with shifts ranging from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, and 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. The hourly rate is $16.54-$18.11 depending on years of experience and education. The paraprofessional will assist students individually, in small groups, or in large groups, utilizing a variety of strategies and techniques to present or reinforce learning. Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent; and an Associate's degree (or higher); or completion of 48 credit hours at an Institution of Higher Education; or completion of a formal Massachusetts endorsed assessment: Parapro or WorkKeys.
- Ability to use or willingness to learn appropriate technology.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
