About The Position

Assists with instructional and behavioral management of youth in school, under the supervision of a certificated staff member. Support Student Success – Become a Paraprofessional in Omaha, NE! Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience, preferably in a school or youth care environment required
• Nationally recognized personal restraint model must be obtained during pre-service training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instruction and classroom management
• Support lesson delivery and provide one-on-one help to students
• Supervise students during non-instructional periods
• Help prepare assignments, grade work, and reinforce learning
• Serve as a positive role model and support student well-being
• Serves as a role model in carrying out activities and behaviors that reflect the values and principles of the Boys Town mission.
