About The Position
AB Staffing Solutions is hiring licensed Paraprofessionals to support students in local schools for the 25/26 school year. This is a full-time position with 37.5 hours per week, and the contract follows the school district calendar. Placement will be matched to your experience and preference, and you will have a supportive recruiting team throughout the assignment.
Requirements
- Virginia Paraprofessional License (ELS – Paraprofessional).
- Experience with preschool or school-aged children.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to multitask in a classroom setting.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs (up to 40 lbs infrequently).
Nice To Haves
- Special education experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support students 1:1 or in small groups.
- Assist teachers with lesson activities and classroom routines.
- Help implement behavior and support plans.
- Observe and document student progress.
- Prepare materials and maintain an organized classroom.
- Assist with basic clerical tasks as needed.
