About The Position
Prevail Academy, located in Mt. Clemens, MI, opened in 2004 and serves students K-8. At Prevail, you can connect passion with purpose. This role involves assessing student abilities and providing instructional assistance for students in need of academic intervention through 1:1 or group workshops as directed by the classroom teacher and designated instructional leader. The position is committed to educating the whole student – academically, morally, and socially, and implementing a result-driven curriculum to achieve significant growth from fall to spring testing. Attendance at professional development and articulation meetings with classroom teachers and parents is required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and/or mathematics.
- Understanding of and capability to navigate technical systems.
