About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year in the Sierra Vista, AZ area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting. This is an in-person, full-time role for the 2026-2027 school year.
Requirements
- 60 college credits OR paraprofessional certificate (must be presented before interview)
- Ability to pass background checks
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in the school setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist students with classwork, assignments, and skill development under teacher direction.
- Support small‑group or one‑on‑one instruction to reinforce lessons and learning objectives.
- Modify or adapt materials as directed to meet student needs.
- Utilize teacher‑provided strategies to promote engagement and academic success.
