About The Position
Sage Connections, a woman- and therapist-owned company, is hiring full-time W-2 Paraprofessionals to support K–12 students in the school setting for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and feel valued in their role. At Sage, you will be backed by a team that understands the work and cares about your success. This role involves 1:1 or small group student support with options for Elementary & Middle School. The schedule is Monday – Friday, approximately 35 hours/week, from August 2026 to May 2027, onsite in Aurora, CO.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Ability to follow medical, behavioral, and personal care protocols
- Dependable, patient, and compassionate, with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must pass background check and any school-specific onboarding requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children or students with special needs (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist students with daily living activities, mobility, feeding, and hygiene needs
- Support students in the classroom and during school activities
- Follow care plans and behavior support strategies as directed by staff or medical teams
- Document services and share observations with the support team
- Promote student safety, independence, and dignity
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and nurses to meet student needs
