About The Position

The role involves supervising and monitoring students assigned to the Intervention Center & In-School Suspension Program. The start date is August 25, 2026, with orientation days prior.

Requirements

Knowledge of school and classroom rules, procedures and practices.
Ability to interpret and establish appropriate rules, methods and techniques in maintaining a disciplined academic environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and patience.
Experience working with students.
Highly Qualified; 2 years college credits or equivalent or passing score of the ParaPro Test

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques is strongly encouraged.
Prior experience working with students with autism preferred.
RBT or ABA experience preferred.
Safety care training preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor students assigned to the Intervention Center & In-School Suspension Program.
Work with students and or other staff members during student reflection period on issues such as behavior management and the prevention of undesirable behaviors that resulted in student being assigned to ISS.
Monitor all ISS assignments; provide encouragement and feedback to students, monitor tests, computer work and provide instructional assistance as appropriate.
Communicate with teachers in advance for work requests.
Maintain communication with Assistant Principal regarding student performance.
