About The Position

Intel is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for the Module Engineering Graduate Intern role. In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to Intel's semiconductor manufacturing processes and play a vital role in achieving production excellence. You will be part of a module team performing electrical measurements (Etest) on chips that are mid-process inside the wafer factory (fab), providing time-critical feedback for process development and monitoring of leading-edge transistor technologies. In the Etest (parametric test) module role, you will contribute to achieving key milestones in manufacturing readiness on leading nodes, including development of automated data summaries and response flow checklists for equipment errors. You will also develop an understanding of Etest probing recipe considerations and play a role in enabling Etest on new products within the factory, while partnering with data customers to monitor and react to measurement marginalities. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related specialized field.
  • 3+ months of experience in any of the following: Strong grasp of electrical circuitry fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience in instrument design, test system development, or design validation.
  • Experience with data summarization and data analysis techniques.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with device or circuit design, or electronic test equipment.
  • Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW, or other programming for instrument control.
  • Understanding of hardware troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and collaborate in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and build queries to pull and summarize Etest data
  • Designing, executing and analyzing experiments to drive improved tool (equipment) matching.
  • Working effectively with the equipment supplier to identify shortcomings; develop, propose, and evaluate novel solutions to mitigate issues.
  • Collaborating with other Intel test sites to drive the test quality and sustaining excellence.
