Paramedic | Cath Lab | Freeman Bentonville | PRN | Day Shift
About The Position
The Cath Lab Paramedic provides direct patient care and technical support to physicians and the multidisciplinary cardiovascular team during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Working under the direction of the Medical Director, Registered Nurse, and/or Cath Lab leadership, the paramedic is responsible for assisting with patient preparation, monitoring, emergency response, and procedural support while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality. The Cath Lab Paramedic must possess advanced assessment skills, be proficient in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and demonstrate the ability to rapidly recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program.
- Current state Paramedic licensure/certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two years of paramedic experience in a high-acuity setting (Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Department, ICU, or Cath Lab).
- Experience interpreting cardiac rhythms and recognizing hemodynamic instability.
- Experience with invasive monitoring and emergency cardiovascular care.
