About The Position

ThedaCare is seeking experienced Paramedics to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing your clinical expertise, and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team. The Paramedic performs in a nursing support role with a variety of direct care functions under general supervision by licensed team members including RN, Physician, and/or APC.

Requirements

• Completion of Paramedic Program
• BLS upon hire
• Paramedic license for the State of WI
• ACLS & PALS within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Receives direction and assignments from licensed team members and provides technical support to optimize patient care
• Reports on the condition of the patient to the appropriate licensed team members to ensure safe, quality patient care
• Completes accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Reinforces patient education performed by the RN
• Assists with patient transport to other departments as needed based on patient condition
• Assists with maintaining a safe and clean environment to perform patient care
• Administers medications under the general supervision of the RN or Provider in accordance with the ThedaCare-approved Paramedic medication list
