About The Position

Bring your advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and commitment to patient care to a team that makes a difference through safe, compassionate medical transport. At Logan Health, our A.L.E.R.T. Ground EMS team provides medical transport services for patients who require care and monitoring during transport. We are seeking a Paramedic to provide high-quality patient care, assessment, and support in the transport environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, professionalism, teamwork, and the ability to provide patient-centered care while ensuring safety and comfort throughout transport.

Requirements

Current Montana Paramedic licensure required.
Current driver’s license required.
Must maintain state-mandated continuing education requirements.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent required.
Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) required.
Must possess and maintain a good driving record clear of the following for the past thirty-six (36) months from time of hire: Conviction of a felony involving a motor vehicle. Conviction of sale, handling, or use of illicit drugs. Conviction of an alcohol or drug-related offense while driving. Driver’s license suspended or revoked. Conviction of three (3) or more speeding or other moving violations.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize effectively.
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn additional software systems as needed.
Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

Nice To Haves

National Registry Paramedic certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Paramedic-level care during ground medical transports.
Perform assessments, provide care within scope of practice, and monitor patients during transport.
Accurately complete patient care reports, documentation, and required forms.
Operate ambulances, communication devices, patient care equipment, and transport-related tools.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to support safe and effective patient care.
Maintain vehicles, equipment, supplies, and work areas according to department protocol.
Follow local, state, federal, and department regulations, policies, and procedures.
