This position facilitates the highest quality of EMS care and protection for customers and employees. The role ensures compliance with State, regional, and local laws and policies of the EMS department. Key responsibilities include checking BLS and ALS Equipment before each event, assisting with inventory and maintenance of all supplies and equipment assigned to the EMS Department, and responding to medical emergencies within and around the MVP arena. The Paramedic is also responsible for filing reports and documents in compliance with NYS DOH Regulations, collaborating with other EMS department employees, and performing all other assigned duties. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of managing a sick patient independently. Additionally, this role involves supervisory responsibilities, overseeing all employees assigned to the EMS Department when acting as supervisor of events in the absence of the EMS Director, and executing supervisory duties in accordance with ASM's policies and applicable laws.
