About The Position

EMS Unlimited is seeking motivated and positive professionals for the role of Paramedic in our Transport Division. This is a full-time position based in Rifle, CO. As a Paramedic, you will perform duties associated with basic and advanced medical and first aid services and emergency medical care to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and EMS Unlimited policies in the setting of IFT ambulance and transport operations. We are a growing and professional provider of ambulance transport, medical standby, event staffing and other EMS related services, proud of our teamwork and valuing patient care focus, customer service driven individuals. Additional opportunities within EMS Unlimited will be made available throughout the year based on operational needs.

Requirements

Valid CPR
Colorado Paramedic License
Valid driver's license
Must be 21 years of age or older to drive our ambulance
A high degree of critical thinking and desire for professional development
Exceptional patient clinical decision making

Responsibilities

Maintaining and encouraging EMS Unlimited values in yourself and your coworkers
Responding to emergency and non-emergency requests calmly, efficiently and promptly
Administering basic and advanced life support to patients at the scene, in a prehospital/pre-transport setting in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations and standards
Conducting medical equipment inventory
Cleaning, organizing and restocking supplies in a ready condition after each use
Working cooperatively with assisting agencies. Be nice, professional, courteous and an all around happy and pleasant person.
