About The Position

Lumexa Imaging is one of the country's largest providers of outpatient medical imaging, with over 5,000 team members and more than 185 outpatient imaging centers across 13 states, conducting over 4 million outpatient studies annually. They partner with health systems and radiologists, focusing on clinical excellence, operations, and state-of-the-art technology. Touchstone Medical Imaging, a premier provider of diagnostic imaging services, is seeking a full-time Paramedic to work onsite. This role involves facilitating contrast injections at multiple locations in Texas, including Burleson, SW Fort Worth, Fort Worth, and Weatherford. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. In the event of an adverse patient reaction (contrast reaction, infiltration, or other situations requiring a radiologist), the Paramedic is responsible for immediately alerting the supervising radiologist via Teams audio/video functionality. The radiologist will then assist with patient assessment and provide treatment instructions, including medication administration. The on-site Paramedic is also responsible for calling 911 when necessary.

Requirements

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Previous experience as a certified EMT or Paramedic
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Provides documentation of Certificate of Liability Insurance
Provides documentation of current medical license
Completes MRI Safety Screening form
Review of Emergency Response and MRI Safety training

Responsibilities

Facilitate contrast injections
Immediately use Teams audio/video functionality to alert the supervising radiologist if confronted with an adverse event (contrast reaction, infiltration or situation that requires the radiologist)
Ensure 911 has been called when necessary
