Requirements

Valid EMT-P or Paramedic License
Must have or be eligible to obtain BLS Certification
Must have at least a year of experience as a paramedic

Responsibilities

Document and report observations and treatments to physicians, nurses, or other healthcare staff.
Instruct the emergency medical response team on emergency interventions to ensure procedures are correctly applied.
