About The Position

Touchstone Medical Imaging is seeking a full-time Paramedic to sit onsite to facilitate contrast injections at our location in Flower Mound, TX. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm). If confronted with an adverse event (contrast reaction, infiltration or situation that requires the radiologist), the Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic should immediately use the Teams audio/video functionality to alert the supervising radiologist. The radiologist will assist with assessment of the patient and provide appropriate treatment instruction, including any medication administration. It is also the responsibility of the on-site contractor to ensure 911 has been called when necessary. Items listed must be complete prior to onsite coverage. Provides documentation of Certificate of Liability Insurance and current medical license Completes MRI Safety Screening form Review of Emergency Response and MRI Safety training.

Requirements

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Previous experience as a certified EMT or Paramedic
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Facilitate contrast injections.
Alert supervising radiologist via Teams audio/video in case of adverse events (contrast reaction, infiltration, or situations requiring radiologist assistance).
Assist with patient assessment and follow treatment instructions from the radiologist, including medication administration.
Ensure 911 is called when necessary.
Provide documentation of Certificate of Liability Insurance and current medical license.
Complete MRI Safety Screening form.
Review Emergency Response and MRI Safety training.
