This position is responsible for practicing within the scope of practice for appropriate state certification under medical supervision. The Paramedic will demonstrate appropriate assessment skills in following established patient care protocols and collaborate with other health team members. They will provide a safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient care environment through collaboration with other disciplines and support ProMedica Health System and ProMedica Transportation Network policies and procedures. The role involves assisting in the assessment and treatment of patient care needs in the field or at a transferring medical facility, ensuring patient needs are met, reassessed, and treated until delivery to the designated treatment facility. Additionally, the Paramedic will maintain PTN vehicles in a constant state of readiness and cleanliness, documenting checks of vehicles and equipment every shift.
