About The Position

Paramedic - Cleburne. Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. Work location: Texas Health Resources 201 Walls Drive TX 76031. Work hours: Night Shift Full Time 36 Hours 7PM-7AM rotating schedule including rotating weekends and holidays. Department highlights: Expanding the scope of paramedics within the organization to allow for skill development.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship Required
  • EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Upon Hire Required Or LP - Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire Required
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Required
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required
  • Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal, and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 Year paramedic experience in EMS or fire department Preferred

  • Assists in meeting departmental/hospital KPI’s related to: Patient outcomes, Customer satisfaction, financial performance, Organizational effectiveness, and Community health care.
