This is a full-time night position for a Paramedic in the Emergency Department at Texas Health Rockwall. The role involves responding to patient needs, performing technical skills, providing safe patient care under delegation, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The hospital is a 105-bed acute-care facility serving Rockwall, Kaufman, Hunt, and surrounding counties, with a commitment to compassionate and high-quality healthcare. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship required
  • EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic required upon hire or LP - Licensed Paramedic required upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly
  • Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to perform basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience in EMS or fire department preferred
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
