About The Position

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a Paramedic to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home. Our Paramedic is an essential part of our Ambulance team and is responsible under the direction and supervision of the Emergency Department Physician and Unit Director for providing high quality patient care according to established standards of performance. The Paramedic collects patient health data from patient, referring caregivers and EMR, analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnoses/problem, identifies expected outcomes/goals individualized to the patient, develops a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the interventions identified in the plan of care, and performs requires documentation and participates in quality control. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations, and critical thinking skills are essential. Requirements

• South Dakota EMT-Paramedic license
• CPR certification
• National Registration and South Dakota License as Paramedic
• Ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations
• Critical thinking skills
