About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen Tri-County is seeking a full-time (0.9 FTE) Paramedic to work the night shift in our critical access emergency room. Paramedics provide rapid, hands-on support for patients with urgent and emergent needs. They assist with triage, patient monitoring, procedures, and transport coordination while working closely with the care team to help deliver safe, efficient emergency care.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved paramedic program by the State of Wisconsin
• 6 months of prior direct patient care experience
• Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic - Wisconsin (EMT-P), National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (NREMT-P), or Critical Care Paramedic Endorsement (CCEMT-P)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers, with hands-on learning, from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Valid driver’s license (DL)
• Valid certified emergency vehicle operator (CEVO or EVOC) within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour night shifts
• Every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday
