About The Position
Piedmont Walton’s Emergency Department is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment serving patients of all ages as a Level III Trauma Center. With 15 treatment rooms and a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, our team is committed to providing high-quality, timely care while emphasizing strong prioritization, teamwork, and professionalism. Nurses in our ED enjoy the flexibility of self-scheduling through Smart Square, allowing for greater work-life balance. Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1 year of experience as a Paramedic
- BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification Upon Hire
- ACLS Upon Hire
- Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia
- National Registry
Nice To Haves
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Paramedics new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date within 120 Days
