Our headquarters is located in Norwich, CT and we have additional offices in Griswold, Ledyard, and at Foxwoods Resort Casino. American Ambulance provides a full range of emergent and non-emergent medical transportation services by highly trained professionals to ensure safe, quick, and compassionate patient care. Your Impact: The Transfer-Only Paramedic is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate, and safe medical care during interfacility, hospital-to-hospital, and specialized medical transports originating from St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. This role focuses exclusively on non-emergent and scheduled patient transfers, ensuring continuity of care while working collaboratively with hospital staff, EMS partners, and receiving facilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid CT Driver's License
- Valid State of Connecticut Paramedic License
- Valid Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support certifications
