This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a foundation in financial operations and develop expertise in account funding and asset movement processes. The Analyst will support the execution and oversight of internal and external account transfers while collaborating with partners across Operations, Private Client, Legal & Compliance, Technology, and Client Service. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and participate in strategic and technology-driven initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong client-service mindset with flexibility and follow‑through.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization (e.g., H-1B , O-1, F-1 (OPT), TN, or any other non-immigrant visa classifications that require employer support or sponsorship).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large data sets.
  • Familiarity with custodian, bank, or broker transfer requirements.
  • Experience with systems such as Advent APX or Pega Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of the account funding and asset transfer process for Private Client and Institutional clients.
  • Review, interpret, and validate information on client account statements to ensure successful transfer of a variety of asset types.
  • Communicate with internal Client Service and Relationship Managers to obtain necessary documentation and ensure timely account funding.
  • Manage inbound requests through internal workflow systems, adhering to service-level expectations and prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
  • Navigate multiple systems and applications to process transfers and respond to evolving business needs.
  • Work directly with external custodians to initiate and track transfers, process gifting requests, and complete related reporting or audits.
  • Use sound judgment to identify issues, escalate exceptions, and communicate resolutions to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal partners—including Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Audit—to support firm goals and ensure process alignment.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying control gaps and recommending enhancements to workflows or tools.
  • Participate in or lead departmental projects, presenting findings and updates to leadership as appropriate.
