Our headquarters is located in Norwich, CT and we have additional offices in Griswold, Ledyard, and at Foxwoods Resort Casino. American Ambulance provides a full range of emergent and non-emergent medical transportation services by highly trained professionals to ensure safe, quick, and compassionate patient care. Your Impact: The Transfer-Only EMT is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and professional medical transportation for non-emergency patients to and from St. Vincent’s Medical Center and affiliated facilities in the Bridgeport region. This role focuses on interfacility transfers, hospital discharges, scheduled appointments, and medical transport between healthcare providers. The EMT ensures high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with state protocols, hospital policies, and EMS standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current State of Connecticut EMT Certification in good standing
  • Valid Driver’s License and an excellent driving record
