About The Position
Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. contracts with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. The company attributes much of its success to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by its employees. The Paramedic/Firefighter provides medical care and patient transportation at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice as stipulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois. This is a full-time position for the Winthrop Harbor contract. The stated base annual starting pay is $73,448.96; the posting also lists a wage of USD $22.07 per hour.
Requirements
- Paramedic license.
- Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter certification.
- One year of experience.
- CPR certification.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Illinois driver's license.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
Nice To Haves
