What you will do as an EMT - Paramedic: Conducts initial assessment of the condition of the patient and determines a course of action applying an approved patient care protocol Provides basic life support and operate within their license with the State of Minnesota under the medical direction of the clinic Medical Director Appropriately triages patient to receive support and remain in the clinic for their scheduled appointment or contact 911 and hand off patient for transport to emergency department Maintains high level of knowledge and proficiency in protocols and attends trainings and case reviews as warranted. Trains others across M Physicians in rapid assessment and triage of clinic patients Demonstrates ability to provide applicable care/service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level of population served

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Paramedic in State of Minnesota
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Minimum of one year active EMT-P experience
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs

Responsibilities
