Requirements
- Valid Iowa Advanced EMT or Paramedic Certification
- Maintaining ongoing education and certifications from the IDPH Bureau of EMS
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification (paramedic)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (paramedic) within one year of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification (paramedic) within one year of hire
- Current Iowa Driver’s License
- Proficient in reading, writing, and following both written and oral instructions
- Commitment to continuous learning within your scope of practice
- Strong customer service skills
- Empathy, tact, and kindness
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
- National Registry Advanced EMT/Paramedic Certification
