About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal/Litigation Executive to join our expanding Property & Liability team in our Manchester office. The role of a Paralegal will involve assisting with a caseload of Property & Liability cases for a corporate client. The right candidate will need to be comfortable negotiating settlements on behalf of our client, providing advice and assessing/reviewing damages. Alongside assisting with a caseload, you can gain further exposure to higher value claims by assisting the team with the more complex property damage claims. For this role the ability to analyse and evaluate information logically, good communication skills and the ability to relate well to clients and staff is important. Attention to detail, good organisational skills and communication skills are a necessity.

Requirements

• Previous legal experience within a Property & Liability environment or Litigation experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently by managing time in a fast paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills / knowledge.
• A professional manner with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience held in a Paralegal/Litigation executive role.
• Ideally previous experience held in or knowledge of property or recoveries.
