About The Position

The Paralegal works under the supervision of the Deputy General Counsel / Risk Officer to provide legal support for various departments. This role is transactional in nature and assists in vendor management, collecting and analyzing vendor due diligence, and the preparation and review of corporate contracts and research projects, as assigned.

Requirements

2-5 years of legal or similar experience
Notary certification, or willingness to become a Notary
Ability to work off templates, including editing information
Ability to work independently and effectively
Attention to detail and organization; process-oriented
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects across several departments
Ability to address problems and make continuous process improvements
Willingness to work on a broad variety of legal and corporate matters
Commitment to professionalism and personal growth, with the ability to scale and grow with the organization

Nice To Haves

Previous financial institution experience is a plus
Paralegal degree or equivalent, or working towards a Paralegal degree is a plus

Responsibilities

Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values
Analyzing and negotiating vendor contracts and agreements
Researching and ensuring compliance with both state and federal regulations
Providing advice under the guidance of Chief Legal Officer
Assisting Deputy General Counsel / Risk Officer, Chief Legal Officer, Audit, Compliance, and BSA in supporting various matters, as needed
