About The Position

JRP is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Paralegal to provide legal, administrative, and business support to the CEO, Operations leadership, and other departments across JRP and its sister companies. This role will support a broad range of legal and operational matters, including contract administration, business licensing, compliance, legal research, corporate documentation, and special projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable managing confidential information and multiple priorities. This position requires someone who can work independently, anticipate needs, follow matters through to completion, and serve as a reliable resource to leadership and internal teams.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of paralegal or legal administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct research, analyze information, and clearly communicate findings.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working across multiple departments and companies.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certificate or formal paralegal training is a plus
  • Experience supporting executives, attorneys, or senior management preferred.
  • Experience with contract review, corporate records, licensing, compliance, or legal documentation strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day paralegal and administrative support to the CEO, Operations leadership, and other members of management.
  • Support legal and business matters across JRP and its affiliated/sister companies.
  • Review, organize, and maintain customer, vendor, business, and other company contracts and agreements.
  • Track contract terms, renewal dates, deadlines, obligations, and required follow-up.
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, agreements, reports, and other business materials.
  • Conduct legal, regulatory, and business research as directed and summarize findings for leadership.
  • Manage and maintain business licenses, registrations, permits, and renewals, including researching requirements for new locations and entities.
  • Assist with environmental, regulatory, and other compliance-related documentation and deadlines.
  • Maintain organized legal, corporate, contract, licensing, and compliance records.
  • Assist with subpoenas, discovery requests, regulatory inquiries, document requests, and other legal matters as directed.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Finance, HR, Procurement, Sales, and other departments to gather information and complete legal or administrative requirements.
  • Assist leadership with special projects, research, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other business initiatives.
  • Manage administrative follow-up and documentation associated with legal, operational, and corporate matters.
  • Communicate with outside counsel, vendors, agencies, business partners, and other third parties as directed.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive legal, financial, personnel, and business information.
