FBFK Law is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their Plano, TX team. This role involves partnering closely with attorneys and fellow paralegals to support complex litigation matters from intake through trial and appeal. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and a mastery of litigation workflows and deadlines in California state and federal courts. Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of litigation paralegal experience (mid to senior level) in a law firm setting.
  • Proven experience managing complex discovery, deposition prep, and trial preparation.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; exceptional attention to detail.
  • High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with litigation-support and e-discovery tools.
  • Team-oriented communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, fully in-office environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • eDiscovery expertise using Relativity is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain case files, calendars, and litigation deadlines.
  • Manage discovery schedules and production logs.
  • Coordinate, draft, and format discovery requests and responses.
  • Manage e-discovery workflows with vendors.
  • Prepare privilege logs and deposition summaries.
  • Prepare, cite-check, and file pleadings, motions, and supporting papers with state and federal courts.
  • Manage service of process and proof filings.
  • Prepare exhibit lists, witness files, and trial binders.
  • Coordinate logistics for trial support.
  • Support attorneys during hearings, mediations, and trial.
  • Conduct factual research, summarize findings, and assist with investigative tasks.
  • Perform targeted legal research related to litigation and compliance.
  • Coordinate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel on substantive case matters.
  • Assemble closing binders, manage post-judgment filings, and track compliance.
  • Accurately record time and meet firm billable requirements for substantive legal tasks.
