About The Position

Holland & Knight is seeking a Paralegal to join its team in the Nashville office. The Paralegal will assist attorneys and practice groups with various legal matters, including preparing legal documents, researching and compiling data, drafting documents, and maintaining files, calendars, and meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of experience in immigration.
• Organizational skills to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, complex transactional environment.
• Communication skills to interact with internal staff, attorneys, management, and external clients at all levels.
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills sufficient to make decisions regarding daily work.
• Time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with immigration terminology and tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Paralegal certification.
• Experience with INS Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, summarize, and index documents from various sources.
• Attend and participate in meetings and/or closings.
• Prepare documents and correspondence.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
