About The Position

You will join a world-class legal department supporting labor and employment matters globally. This role requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage complex, cross‑functional legal matters involving sensitive information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm, legal department, agency, court or equivalent relevant experience
  • Tech-savvy with significant experience in records and database management and a proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products in performing a variety of computer-based tasks, including creating and maintaining spreadsheets, preparing presentations, creating/formatting documents, maintaining calendars and tracking deadlines
  • Project management
  • E-discovery experience in collecting/managing massive amounts of data
  • Experienced in discovery requests and navigating enterprise-wide corporate departments and systems
  • Sophisticated research, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Advanced written and communication skills
  • Self-starter who thinks ahead of the curve
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive commitment to follow through on assignments

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated history of proposing and implementing process improvements is a plus
  • International experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide case management and general paralegal support for employment and litigation matters, including agency and tribunal claims.
  • Conduct legal and fact research; organize, analyze, and compile information; and draft memoranda and summaries to support legal advice.
  • Handle subpoenas and requests for employment, payroll, and personnel records.
  • Support discovery, including document gathering, evaluation and processing of discovery requests, and management of litigation holds.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee complex and voluminous document production projects.
  • Assist with hearing and trial preparation and with filing agency, tribunal, administrative, and court documents.
  • Support internal investigations, including complaint intake and interviews of witnesses.
  • Draft and maintain litigation status reports and case tracking documentation.
  • Provide document support, including drafting, redlining, and proofreading legal documents and contracts.
  • Provide project management support, schedule and coordinate meetings, and assist attorneys with administrative tasks.
