About The Position

Paralegals play a key role in assisting our attorneys, performing tasks like preparing immigration filings, research, and legal writing, while our attorneys are responsible for representing clients in court, and signing applications and filings. We are seeking a Paralegal to join our federal litigation team to assist in a wide range of immigration cases, including but not limited to: Assisting federal litigation team with filing of complaints and petitions, service, motions, in federal court (U.S. District Courts & Circuit Courts) Organizing, analyzing, and managing Court Deadlines and filings Communicating directly with U.S. Attorney’s Office and DOJ Attorneys Managing the caseload from intake through processing and filing Keeping cases on track by updating status reports and managing deadlines Reviewing and proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and completeness Providing critical administrative support that keeps our team running smoothly

Requirements

  • At least a year of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Paralegal experience required, preferably in federal litigation
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfort working with diverse clients
  • Strong writing skills
  • Excellent research skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, and able to learn new programs, systems, or applications quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with PACER/ECF filing systems is a plus
