About The Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Paralegal Closer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with residential and/or commercial real estate transactions and be proficient with Qualia or similar real estate closing software. They are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, personable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in real estate closings, real estate law, escrow, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of real estate closing procedures, title documentation, and lender requirements.
• Experience with Qualia, SoftPro, RamQuest, ResWare, or similar closing software.
• Ability to read and understand legal descriptions and handle routine title issues.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple files.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable personality.
• Someone who takes initiative, follows through, and knows how to keep a transaction moving.
• Reliable, personable, detail-oriented, and willing to take ownership of their files.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a law firm, title company, escrow company, or similar environment is a plus.
• If you have experience in escrow, legal, finance, or a related field and are comfortable working with documents, deadlines, and multiple parties, our client is open to considering your background.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review closing documents, including ALTA/CD settlement statements, deeds, and lender packages.
• Coordinate closings with clients, real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and internal teams.
• Order and review title commitments, surveys, payoffs, insurance, and other documents needed to get transactions ready to close.
• Keep transactions on schedule and address issues that could cause delays.
• Communicate with all parties throughout the closing process and keep everyone informed of important updates.
• Coordinate the execution, recording, and disbursement of closing documents and funds.
• Handle post-closing responsibilities, including title policy issuance, file reconciliation, and outstanding document follow-up.
• Manage multiple transactions at once while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
