Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts degree or Paralegal Certification
• 2+ years of Workers' Compensation experience
• Experience in insurance company billing requirements
• Experience tracking and billing time spent on client matters
• Experience with Case Management Software
• Keen attention to detail and organization
• Thorough understanding of the litigation process
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc....)
• Professional demeanor, excellent communication and computer skills and the ability to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Firm-minded, client focused and demonstrates a positive team spirit

Responsibilities

• Document creation, filing, management and analysis for large cases
• Scheduling
• Medical record summaries and chronologies
• Procurement of medical records/HIPAA compliance
• Preparation and service of subpoenas and other discovery requests
• Preparation of pleadings and discovery responses
• Preparation of routine status reports to clients or national counsel
• Statewide roster/docket monitoring
• Electronic filings/ECF with Federal Court
• Tracking of time spent on client matters and enter time in CMS billing system in a timely matter
