Paralegal (Trusts and Estates)
About The Position
San Diego Elder Law Center is growing and is looking for a paralegal with not less than 2 years of recent experience in one or more of the following areas: Trust Administration, Probate, Estate Planning, Conservatorships. They will also consider paralegals with similar experience in family law practice. This is a full-time position with good benefits. The firm is well-respected, currently with 5 attorneys, 4 paralegals, and five administrative support staff. They have an excellent chemistry and a team-oriented attitude. The office supports a hybrid and remote work environment. The firm has a broad-based trust and estate practice, with an emphasis on elder, incapacity, and special needs matters.
Requirements
- Not less than 2 years of recent experience in Trust Administration, Probate, Estate Planning, or Conservatorships
- Similar experience in family law practice will be considered
- Working knowledge of Probate Code, Local and State Rules of Court
- Knowledge of rules and procedures of pleading and practice in estate administration of court supervised matters
- Good to Excellent computer skills
- Self-Starter able to manage caseload from start to finish
- Excellent phone skills, and the ability to develop and nurture client relationships

- Familiarity with estate planning document preparation
