About The Position

Hall & Evans, LLC, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Missoula, Montana. This position will work on existing client files and help establish a strong local presence in Montana. This is a key position that will have additional responsibilities associated with running a law office and will serve as the main point of contact for the corporate office. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home after successfully completing training.

Requirements

• Civil litigation with a defense firm, preferred
• Montana civil litigation experience, preferred
• Obtain, review and analyze medical, financial, tax, and employment records, or any other relevant documents and records
• Prepare medical record summaries
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence
• Experience billing time
• Well-developed writing and research skills
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Anticipating attorney’s needs, identifying problems, and finding solutions
• Ability to work with limited supervision, independently or with a team
• Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of people
• Ability to exercise a high degree of tact, discretion, and sound judgment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload to meet time-critical deadlines
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a mature, professional, and personable presentation and demeanor
• High level of integrity and personal accountability
• Flexibility to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• ABA Paralegal Certificate, preferred
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, preferred
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. when necessary
