The Paralegal Intern will be given the opportunity to assist with multiple practice areas, including Intellectual Property, Business Litigation, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Estates and Trusts, Insurance, Appeals, Mass Tort, Class Action, Antitrust, Real Estate, as well as Pro Bono representation.
Requirements
- Students pursuing a paralegal certificate program requiring a practical internship

Responsibilities
- Shadowing paralegals and working independently with guidance from mentors
- Interviewing members of various work groups to understand large firm operations
- Document coding and tagging in Relativity, or other related e-Discovery tasks
- Utilizing databases and electronic document management systems
- Supervised preparation of deposition kits and trial exhibits
- Summarizing testimony and case records, itemizing damages, and assisting with discovery responses
- Observing hearings, trials, oral arguments, or viewing video-taped depositions
