About The Position

This position provides essential legal support to the Disputes Team, ensuring timely and accurate handling of lawsuits, subpoenas, small claims, product claims, and related matters. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Intakes, organizes, and maintains files in matter management system
  • Runs reports and prepares data visualizations for team metrics and KPIs
  • Manages discovery, including the collection, organization, and preparation of data for production
  • Issues and manages litigation holds
  • Prepares drafts of basic documents, including correspondence, responses to discovery and subpoenas, affidavits and declarations, settlement agreements, and other documents
  • Manage and maintain case files, records, and documentation within the matter management system
  • Investigates facts and collects relevant documents relating to disputes
  • Maintains and submits litigation and compliance reports.
  • Manages service of process
  • Works with Finance to process payments for legal settlements and other needs
  • Manages administrative needs of the Disputes team, including invoicing, filing, calendaring, and scheduling meetings
  • Assists with other projects as needed
