About The Position

The Paralegal – Business Contract Reviewer provides legal and administrative support to the organization’s General Manager by reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing commercial agreements. This position ensures contractual accuracy, identifies potential risks, and supports compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced business environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of an accredited Paralegal Certification program preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret business contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, licensing agreements, and partnership documents.
  • Identify legal, financial, and operational risks; escalate issues to supervising attorneys as appropriate.
  • Prepare structured summaries outlining key terms, obligations, deadlines, renewal dates, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain organized contract files, ensure version control, and support the use of contract management systems.
  • Communicate contract requirements to relevant departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, Procurement) and track follow‑up actions.
  • Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining standard contract templates under executive team and attorney supervision.
  • Track contractual deadlines, notice periods, and performance obligations to ensure timely compliance.
  • Conduct research related to contract terms, regulatory considerations, and industry standards.
  • Assist with construction permitting and insurance matters.
  • OSHA requirements, fire and other inspections, permits
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
