About The Position
Waterford Public Schools is seeking a team-oriented Paraeducator for Quaker Hill Elementary School. Under the direct supervision of a certified staff member, the Paraeducator assists staff with students in the classroom to meet instructional goals and objectives. Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK–12. The district seeks applicants from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences to help serve students’ multiple identities and enhance teaching and learning for all. Its mission and strategic plan emphasize engaging voices, examining practices, imagining possibilities, and creating an equitable, diverse community. The district includes three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school, and is supported by the Waterford community. The role’s wage is set in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
Requirements
- A Para-Pro Certificate, an associate's degree, or 60 college credits is required.
