About The Position
This is a Classified/Paraeducator-SPED position at Yuba City High School. The position is for 6 hours per day and 180 days per year. The salary range is $20.59 - $25.02 per hour, with 5 step increments, and the highest placement with experience is step 3. The position includes a district benefit package. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 48 college units OR Associate degree OR Bachelor's degree OR passing score (70% in both ELA and Math) on the Paraprofessional Exam administered by the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools.
- Proof of educational requirement must be attached (college transcripts or Paraprofessional Letter showing passing score).
- Completed application must include a resume and two letters of recommendation.
- Support documents must be attached to the online application prior to submission.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Supervise students in various settings.
- Assist with instructional activities.
- Support classroom management.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff.
