About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with students in a classroom or equivalent environment.
• Successful completion of a rigorous competency exam validating district and state required competency.
• Successful completion of a sign language interpreter training program.
• Experience interpreting in one or more sign systems/languages.
• NCLB Compliance (48 college units (semester) or pass the Paraeducator Proficiency Exam).
• Proof of HS Graduation - High School Diploma, High School Transcripts or Equivalent (ex: GED).
• Resume (Provide clear evidence of required experience).

Nice To Haves

• May require a valid driver’s license.
