About The Position

This position is for a Paraeducator with a Health Support focus at Cispus Outdoor Education. The number of para positions offered will be determined by student enrollment. The district will prioritize internal employees currently working with the relevant grade level, followed by employees with training or experience related to Cispus, and then by seniority. Employment is conditional on an approved criminal background clearance, drug/alcohol screening, and completion of an Employment Eligibility Verification form. Continued employment requires compliance with district policies, regular attendance, punctuality, maintaining certifications, completing annual training, and obtaining/maintaining a CPR and First Aid Card if required.

Requirements

• Approved criminal background clearance through OSPI, Washington State Patrol, and/or Federal Bureau of Investigation.
• Pass a Drug/Alcohol screening.
• Completion of an Employment Eligibility Verification form (USCIS Form I-9) presenting proof of identity and employment authorization status.
• Completion of all district-required training within sixty (60) calendar days from hire date.
• Obtain or maintain a CPR and First Aid Card, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide health support to students at Cispus Outdoor Education.
• Comply with all District policies and procedures.
• Maintain consistent presence at assigned worksite, regular work hours, punctuality, and regular attendance.

• Complete annual required training in accordance with District requirements.
• Obtain or maintain a CPR and First Aid Card, if required.
